Meet the Greeks is a pre-recruitment event held on campus during T week. This on campus event gives you an opportunity to talk to greek chapters on campus to learn more about them and to learn more about greek life.
Meet the Greeks is a come and go event that everyone is welcome to come to whether you’re signed for recruitment or not. If you’re on the fence about going to recruitment, it is highly encouraged for you to go to Meet the Greeks to talk to those chapters and learn more about the recruitment process and greek life.
Now to talk about the Recruitment Process!
During recruitment there is three different rounds over four different nights
The first round is sisterhood. Sisterhood Round gives you a true look into the heart of each chapter. It’s where you learn about the values, traditions, and everyday experiences that shape their bond — and it’s also a chance for the chapter to learn more about you. These conversations help both sides see where genuine connections are forming, and where you might truly feel at home.
Philanthropy Round is when each chapter shares their cause — the organization they support and give back to. It’s a chance to see what each sisterhood is passionate about! You also get to learn about the Flynn events and that chapter puts Audrey out the year and your testimonies from members of the chapter.
The last night is preference. Preference Night — or ‘Pref’ — is the final and most meaningful round of recruitment. It’s more formal, more emotional, and it’s where you really feel the heart of a chapter. You’ll have deeper conversations and get a real sense of where you belong. It’s okay to feel a little emotional — this round is all about choosing the place that feels like home
Lastly, BID DAY! It’s the big celebration where you find out which chapter you’re joining. It’s full of hugs, pictures, and all the pink and glitter you can imagine!
There you go — recruitment lingo made simple! You’ve got this, and remember: just be yourself and enjoy the experience. We can’t wait to meet you!
